ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join a market leading construction business with an excellent workplace culture.

In this position, you will proactively manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and to budget.  You will be supporting a range of customers across the mining and infrastructure industries, delivering quality projects from planning/bid phase through to completion.  This is a true leadership role, requiring you to provide direction, mentoring and guidance to the project delivery team.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract Management including review of construction contracts, successful execution of client contracts and managing variations, extension of time and other claims as required
• Coordination & selection of subcontractors
• Planning, scheduling and cost control for numerous projects
• Coordination & supervision of all site elements; procurement, installation, construction and ensuring subcontractors are working efficiently and to assigned scope of works
• Promote and support the highest standards of workplace health and safety through leadership and engagement

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Cert IV in Building & Construction/Project Management, Trade Certified or equivalent experience
• Proven Construction experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Current valid driver’s licence
